If you haven’t heard of Rays wheels, you probably haven’t encountered import wheels. I say this not with sarcasm but as a simple fact because Rays wheels are the OG Japanese brand known for their quality and performance for decades. In fact, the company that makes these wheels, Rays Engineering, has been in business since 1973 along with several other forged wheel brands. Forging technology is 50 years old and it’s very cool. If you, like me, love watching typing tutorial videos, then you’ll love this too.
If you’ve never seen how forged wheels are made, this is also a good place to look to see why they are usually so much more expensive than cast wheels. Making these suction cups will require more equipment and more time!
