What is the difference between polyurethane wheels and nylon wheels?

Hello, come to consult our products !

What is the difference between polyurethane wheels and nylon wheels?

1. The material of polyurethane wheels is relatively soft, with good friction resistance and low noise; while nylon wheels are relatively hard, and their friction resistance is slightly different from that of polyurethane. For example, clothes made of nylon are also wear-resistant.

2. The materials of polyurethane wheels and nylon wheels are different. Polyurethanes are polymerized from isocyanates (monomers) and hydroxyl compounds. Due to the strong polar carbamate group, insoluble in non-polar groups, it has good oil resistance, toughness, wear resistance, aging resistance and adhesion. Materials suitable for a wide temperature range (-50 to 150°C) can be prepared from different raw materials, including elastomers, thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins. It is not resistant to hydrolysis at high temperature, nor to alkaline medium. Nylon is a general term for polymers containing amide groups in the repeating unit of the macromolecular main chain. Polyamides can be prepared by ring-opening polymerization of lactams, or by polycondensation of diamines and dibasic acids.
